Purpose and Acceptance
These Terms of Use ("ToU") define how Smartphone iD provides its online ID photo service through the website and mobile application. By accessing or using our services you accept these ToU.
Definitions
- Smartphone‑iD Services: system delivering ID photos compliant with administrative standards (ICAO), with automated AI checks and human review before email or postal delivery.
- Service provider / user: any company or person using the system.
- Client(s): any person creating a photo or buying a product via Smartphone‑iD.
- User account: personal account required to access paid services.
Service Description
Take, process and order compliant ID photos. Digital delivery and optional print/shipping are available.
Access
Access to the site/app is free; paid features apply to photo capture, editing and ordering. A compatible device and Internet connection are required.
Account & Security
Users must provide accurate information and keep credentials confidential. Notify Smartphone iD of any unauthorised use.
User Obligations
- Use the service lawfully and in line with applicable standards;
- No impersonation or false information;
- Respect IP rights of Smartphone iD and third parties;
- No unlawful, defamatory, obscene or infringing content.
Payment
Payments are processed online via secure providers (Stripe, Apple Pay, Google Pay). Prices include taxes and may change; the price at the time of order applies.
Withdrawal & Refunds
You acknowledge waiving the right of withdrawal for digital content and services executed before the end of the withdrawal period (EU law). In case of administrative rejection you may request a refund with proof; assessment is case‑by‑case.
Intellectual Property
All site/app elements are protected by IP laws. Any unauthorised reproduction or use is prohibited.
Liability
We strive to provide quality service but are not liable for malfunctions, interruptions or damages arising from use. Users are responsible for their device and connection.
Limitation of Liability
No liability for indirect or consequential damages; capped at the amount paid for the concerned services.
